More newspaper cuttings – from France (November 2008)

For the second year running, the investitures of the Grand Priory of the Mediterranean in France have brought extensive newspaper coverage of the event. One must note with satisfaction that the media coverage of the Grand Priory in Malta, Italy and France have indeed been constant and non-intrusive.

All the members of the Grand Priory are fully aware of the Grand Priory’s policy of not ridiculing the philanthropic work of the Order by means of needless media photo-ops serving only to project the Order as a group of people who superfluously flaunt their medals and insignia. The Grand Priory prefers to aid and assist because it believes in such a mission instead of doing charitable works as a cheap means of getting oneself on the media.
